Spring Dresses Again! With Ankle Boots and Converse Chucks

More spring dresses! I am going to be very lost when baby T gets mobile and I need something more suitable than dresses to run around in, they are getting a work out this season.

Here's what I wore to go to my mother's group:
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
NecklaceHouse of Harlow Dynamic necklace in gold
Dress: Jeanswest 'Chelsea' printed dress (new purchase, on sale!)
ShoesAcne pistol boots in "skin"

This dress is the first piece I've purchased for myself in November, after managing not to buy myself anything in October. Despite being my first clothing purchase in a while, it's not a well-thought out wardrobe need, it's a "I stopped by a Jeanswest sale and it was in my size" kinda purchase. I know I don't need any more dresses....but I still love it regardless! It's sure to get a lot of wear. It was on sale and there was the extra friends and family 40% off on top of the sale price, great score. It's still on sale online, just not with the extra discount.

For the first outing, I wore it with the ankle boots to go to my mother's group. The dress is a nice length so that it's easy to sit around and play with baby T and the other babies during tummy time without having too be too careful how I sit! The only thing I wish I'd changed about this outfit was my hair - it is just calling out for some nice beachy waves, but I was running behind already and had no time to do anything other than tie my hair back and hope for the best.

Last worn: Ray-ban Wayfarers, Acne Pistol boots. First time I've worn the dress as it's a new purchase.

Here's what I wore to go out to the doctors:
DressAtmos&Here 'California' drop waist tee dress
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black

Another Converse and dress outfit! I like the simplicity of that combination when I'm going to be baby wearing. Wasn't going anywhere special, just a short trip to the doctors with baby T.

The last time I wore this dress I wore it with the same Converse too, just with other accessories. Kept it a little more simple and pared back this time around. It was quite warm so I didn't add a scarf to accessorise, as it can get kinda toasty on a hot day with a baby strapped to you.

I did regret not having a scarf when a freshly-fed baby T decided that the walk to the doctor was too bouncy, and as a result spit up some milk on my shoulder as we sat in the waiting room! Thank goodness for baby wipes, they are the number one must-haves for life with baby. I hear that they remain an essential even as baby grows into a big kid too ;)

Last worn: drop-waist striped dress, Converse.

Grey Tee, Black Skater Skirt, Patent Mouse Flats | Peplum Tank, Purple Skinny Jeans

Black two days in a row! Black and grey and then a little more cheerful with black and purple.

Here's what I wore to visit a friend:
Monochrome grey oversized tee jacquard skater skirt patent mouse flats
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
NecklaceHouse of Harlow 5 station necklace in black and silver
TopAtmos&Here grey v-neck tee with rolled sleeves
Skirt: Jeanswest 'Helena' black jacquard skirt
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats in black patent leather

Baby T and I went out despite the hot day to visit a friend and chat for a bit. So nice to be able to wear this skirt again, it's from the "after baby arrives" box I added clothes to as I outgrew them during pregnancy. It was mainly full of skirts and work dresses.

This skirt was something I wore in the early stages of pregnancy to help hide my tiny baby bump in the office. The little flare of the skater skirt style helped me feel less self-conscious about my belly. At the time the first trimester baby bump felt so huge, haha! Of course by the time baby T arrived, I was overdue and feeling very, very large!

Last time I wore this skirt I paired it with a grey tee also (and the same shoes!), but added a bright handbag for a bit of colour. Kept it monochrome this time, as all my things were in the black baby bag.

Last worn: Ray Ban Wayfarers, grey v-neck teejacquard skater skirt, patent mouse flats.

Here's what I wore to catch up with the ladies in my mother's group:
Zalora black peplum tank purple jeanswest skinny jeans Aussie Spring Outfit
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
TopZalora basics ruffle hem tank in black (on sale)
JeansJeanswest blackberry super skinny jeans
Shoesblack slim Havaianas thongs

Another catch up with some ladies in my mother's group at the local library. They have a weekly session for babies and it's fun to go there and sing some songs with baby T and chat with the other mummies outside of our regular meetings. Plus, it gets baby and I out of the house again, something that's really needed some days ;)

It wasn't too hot in the morning, so I wore jeans. Also stopped by that beautiful flower-shedding tree again to try get a better picture when walking Cooper. I prefer this angle over the last picture in this spot. Although really it might just be due to there being more flowers on the ground this time around!

I wanted to wear a little something to add a bit of interest to the peplum tank, and I picked out a scarf in the morning. However, by the afternoon (when I took this pic) I'd already removed the scarf as it was getting a bit warm. I do think this outfit would have looked better with a scarf though. What do you think?

Last worn: Wayfarers (see above), peplum tank, purple skinny jeans, Havaianas.

Spring Scarves! Chambray Shift Dress, Grey Tank and Colour Block Maxi Skirt

Two spring outfits with scarves! I'm trying to stretch as much wear out of my scarves as possible before the summer heat sets in. They are really practical accessories for life with baby T!

Here's what I wore to spend the day in the city:
Red spring scarf outfit grey tank maxi skirt Alexander McQueen skull
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
ScarfAlexander McQueen red skull-print modal and cashmere-blend scarf
Tank: gifted Target grey marle tank top
SkirtAsos colour block maxi skirt in red (on sale!)
Shoes: Wittner 'Columbia' cross strap sandals in tan

Headed into Brisbane city for the afternoon, to have a look at some of the G20 displays and artwork that was set up. There are all kinds of fun events in the evening, but it's a bit late for baby T to be out, so we just enjoyed the things we can do in the daytime.

Also took baby T into the office to introduce him to all of my colleagues and catch up on how things are going at work. I've been away almost 6 months now, and there have been so many changes in my absence! Going to be interesting seeing how many more changes come along before I return to work next year. So thankful for the generous maternity leave we get here in Australia.

This tank top is new - one my mum bought for me on a previous shopping trip. I wanted to add a bit of interest to the plain tank, but couldn't decide on a necklace. I thought the scarf was nice, and it wasn't too warm for it. I need to try still get some wear out of my scarves this spring, we will see if the weather cooperates! Thought about adding a handbag, but decided just to carry everything in the baby bag for simplicity.

Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarers, skull scarf, colour block maxi skirt, Wittner sandals. First time I've worn the tank.

Here's what I wore to go to an appointment:
Paisley print Snood Chambray Shift Dress Mulberry Bayswater Outfit
ScarfSeed Heritage Paisley print snood (on sale!)
DressEzra chambray shift dress
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs metallic mouse flats
BagMulberry Bayswater in Oak NVT leather

A little bit of a dull, drizzly start to the day, so took the chance to wear one of my thicker winter scarves. I ended up taking it off when the afternoon heat hit though. Probably not going to be able to wear it until Autumn comes around next year now.

Had an early morning appointment, so dropped baby T off at his grandparents and took my Mulberry Bayswater to hold all the paperwork and stuff I needed. No time to do my hair, so it's scraped up into a messy bun. It is becoming my hairstyle of choice!

I was going to wear my little tan flats with this (like I did last time I wore this bag), but decided on the gold ones instead. I quite like it in the photo, but while I was wearing it I did wish I'd gone with the tan flats!

Last wornpaisley print snood, chambray shift dress, metallic mouse flats, Mulberry Bayswater bag.
