Here's what I wore to work for casual Friday:

Planned this outfit the night before, and woke up to a lot of rain. So much rain it knocked our power out a couple of times during the night. I decided to go ahead and wear what I'd planned anyway, although boots probably would have been nicer for walking. Luckily the rain dried up during the day and I managed to get some outside photos, after my poor attempt before I left for work. Left my hair wavy and natural as it was raining anyway :)

I think the scarf worked okay due to all the other brown tones in my outfit, what do you think?

Casual jeans and a tee outfit today. Caught up with my sister who is back from an amazing trip, and had dinner with family. This grey tee is one of my The Iconic sale purchases, it's super soft and comfortable. Was a little cold this morning to take the jacket off for photos though, I'll try get a better pic next time I wear it.

It was a little chilly near the end of the day so I wore a purple cardi over my jeans and tee outfit. Of course it covers up the print on the tee, haha. It says "a shelter dog changed my life...". Had a really nice evening catching up with friends and playing poker. Cooper even 'played'.

Had a really nice day today - went to church with the family (where my sister kindly took a blog photo) and then had lunch and a day out with my mum and sister. Came home to work at Church Online in the evening. Had planned to wear jeans but my sister convinced me otherwise, and we both ended up wearing a dress and leggings. Was quite warm in the sun after church, so I was glad I'd chosen the dress!

Took this quick selfie to share what I wore, a very casual outfit for a day at home.

We had a very lazy Saturday! Spent some time tidying the house in preparation for a house guest and tackling the mess that is my wardrobe. I managed to add 3 items to the donate pile which is progress, but the amount of clothes I have and hardly ever wear is embarrassing. I thought that having an organised wardrobe would make it easier to see what I have and pack for my Melbourne trip, but all I ended up with was a mess of clothes, haha.

Wanted to wear something comfortable yet suitable for dinner, so I went for a printed dress again. I really like the print on this dress and thought it would go well with my yellow clutch. I need to make an effort to wear my clutches more often, and yesterday was a good day to do so as I didn't have to carry much. The tan sandals seemed like an obvious choice to match the tan belt the dress came with.


The sunnies were last worn here, and clutch here. This is the first time I've worn the dress as it was a recent gift, and first time I've worn the sandals as they were a recent sale purchase.

Just a nice casual outfit to beat the heat today! I was a little worried that this top would be too long to pair with the shorts and I'm not 100% convinced now I see the photos. Won't pair these shorts and that tank together again. What do you think?

Had a nice relaxing start to the year at my in-laws house with a BBQ and some games. I wanted to wear this skirt and also wanted to carry my Balenciaga clutch, so I tried a mix of gold and silver with this outfit. I'm not sure it really worked, wouldn't pair this skirt and clutch together again. Was pleased with the photo location though - wearing a blossom tee under beautiful purple blossoms!

So pleased that today had the perfect beach weather after our plans were rained out last week. We headed down to the gold coast to relax and soak up some sun. Although we got stuck in traffic on the way there, the perfect beach weather more than made up for it. Took this photo on our way back to the car so please excuse the wet beach hair! Wore my Zara tunic dress over my bikini to cover up and keep my shoulders hidden from the sun.

Another cold day today! The rain mostly held off but there was still a lot of wind and it was really cold this morning. Gave me a chance to rug up a little and wear a scarf and boots for another day though, so that was nice. Picked everything today just for warmth.

Today was remembrance day, so of course we stopped for a moment to think about how lucky we are to be here today and how grateful we are to those who have fought for the freedoms we enjoy.

Just a casual outfit today - I didn't even bother doing my hair! We were really looking forward to the public holiday today, but changed our plans a little with the cold and rain. We watched a movie, and went to visit a friend in the afternoon and take Cooper to the dog park. I thought I'd packed these Asos boots away until next year, but needed to pull them out again today. May have been a little too optimistic with the weather.

When we were walking around the festival today one of my sandals snapped! I was extremely lucky though as we were standing right opposite a sewing stall. The ladies there were mending and altering some clothes and kindly let me borrow a needle and thread to repair my shoe. It was quite funny as I'm not a talented sewer at all, so my friend had to capture the moment.

We had a good laugh with the ladies, as I was the third person who had stopped by with a wardrobe emergency they had helped to fix, hehe. I think there should be more of these little repair stalls dotted around the place, it certainly came in very handy today. My shoes lasted for the rest of the day, but maybe won't last much longer which is a shame as I wear them a lot and they go with so much. Will need to look for a good replacement! Any suggestions?

My sister, friend and I went shopping today. I didn't want to spend too much so I thought if I took my envelope clutch I'd have my hands full and not want to carry too many shopping bags with me. Didn't really work, we ended up buying quite a lot in the outlets.... It was a fun day though, lots of laughs as you can see from the photo!
