Lace Pencil Skirt, Oversized Top, Balenciaga Sapphire City | Casual Friday Jeans and Tee, Bal Day Bag

Here's what I wore to work on Thursday:
away from blue mica work outfit embroidered tee lace pencil skirt texture mix

away from the blue balenciaga purple sapphire city bag worn with long strap
Sunglasses: pink leopard print sunglasses from Paddy's Markets in Sydney
TopJeanswest 'Leila' embroidered top
SkirtLiving Doll Wednesday black lace skirt
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs patent leather logo plaque flats
Bracelets: the usual plus gifted purple Salvatore Ferragamo 'Vara' leather bow bracelet
BagBalenciaga purple RH city in 2008 sapphire

Kept the accessories simple, didn't wear a necklace. I tried on a few necklaces in the morning, but they all seemed a bit much with the embroidered panel on the top and the lace on the skirt. Figured the texture was enough to add some interest to the outfit. What do you think?

Last worn: leopard print sunglasses, embroidered top, lace pencil skirt, MbMJ patent flats, Balenciaga sapphire city bag.

Here's what I wore for casual Friday today:

Got lots of comments on my necklace today! Maybe it just popped against the purple tee? I had a comment from a colleague that he was worried I was wearing a radioactive necklace! Apparently this looks similar to necklaces made of volcanic rock that can have harmful, radioactive chemicals in them? Never heard of that before, that was an interesting elevator ride! :)

  2. That sure is weird about the whole radioactive necklace thing. I'm pretty sure yours would be fine though. I like your rainbow keyring. Love the lace pencil skirt on you. Lucky you have the figure to show it off. Have a great weekend Mica :D. sparkle2day.com

    1. It was so weird! I didn't get to ask many more questions about it as it was a quick lift ride, but it gave me a giggle :)

    1. Oh, let me know if you find anything on google! The guy mentioned a few minerals or rock types or something but I couldn't remember their names.
