French Connection Black and White Dress, Mulberry Bayswater | Casual Friday Florals and Jeans, Alexander Wang Rocco Bag

Here's what I wore to work on Thursday:

French Connection print dress for the office patent black flats oak bag

Mulberry Oak bayswater kate spade skinny mini bow bangle

Necklace: Chanel necklace
Dress: French Connection Romany rib printed dress
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs patent leather logo plaque flats
Bracelets: the usual plus Kate Spade skinny mini bow bracelet (new purchase)
BagMulberry Bayswater in Oak NVT leather

Big bag today to carry some notebooks back to work, and also as I had a meeting on the other side of the city I had to take stuff along too. It was a nice sunny day, so a simple printed dress. Haven't worn this dress as much as I expected too after I bought it, so today was it's last wear. It's feels a little more casual than some of my other work dresses, so I usually pass by it in my wardrobe in favour of another. After reading Blue Paper Laterns Closet Inventory post, I've been thinking about how many clothes I own and how rarely I wear most of them. I need to be more ruthless with removing things that aren't perfect. Maybe once I've had a few more wardrobe clearouts I'll be brave enough to try and count what I have!

Last worn: French Connection print dress, patent MbMJ flats, Mulberry Bayswater bag.

Here's what I wore to work today:

away from blue casual Friday office outfit jeans floral tank

Alexander Wang Rocco bag in dark argon worn on arm

NecklaceIndigo Rose Design pearl and antique gold long necklace
Top: gifted floral and lace top
Jeans: Sass and Bide "Straight up" jeans
Shoes: Novo 'Camilla' brown bow flats
Bracelets: the usual plus Indigo Rose Design waxed leather cream howlite beaded wrap bracelet
BagAlexander Wang Rocco with gold hardware in dark argon

Jeans for casual Friday :) Wasn't entirely sure what shoes to wear with this, but I think the brown looked nice with the little brown bits in the top. What do you think?

Linking up with Casual Friday Linkup, Friday's Five, Friday's Fancies, Friday's Fab Favourites today.

Last worn: floral print top, Sass and Bide Straight Up jeans, brown bow flats, Alexander Wang Rocco bag.

  1. Love that first dress - the print is interesting yet the color scheme keeps it from being too much! Love it!

  3. i love your Mulberry Bayswater bag! and i've also been doing a closet cleanout the past couple of weeks -- just putting things I want to get rid of in a separate bag and if I decide in a month that I can live without these items then they're finding new homes!

    cute & little

    1. That's a good idea! I usually only add things to the bag after I've already decided I don't want them any more - should try doing that while I'm still deciding :)

  10. I just busted out my Mulberry Alexa today after having it in hibernation for the past 4 months ish haha!
I love that lace too pairing with the jeans! I am afraid to put lace around me because it tends to add width to my body frame for some reason! Blame on my muscular arms and thighs ~_~
Clearing out our closet can be a daunting task but let me reassure you the result is rewarding! Perhaps donate or even do a garage sale? If you haven't worn a piece for over a year, it's a sign that you probably won't ever wear it! Think, more closet space!! :)

    1. I can never stick to the 1 year rule, I always think "I'll wear it next season", haha! I've tried ebay a few times, but most of my stuff I donate to the shelter where we adopted Cooper, to support them :)

You would look amazing in lace! :)

  17. Great outfits Mica! You can just wrap that brown bag for me. With a bow! HAHAHA It's super easy for a closet to get out of hand. There's always a need for a purge. You can do it!

The dress is definitely a hit in the photos, but I'm still going to donate it and make space in my wardrobe for something else :)
