Trench Coats, Heels, Mulberry Alexa and Bayswater Bags, Midi Dress, Pinstripe Pants

Here's what I wore to work on Monday:

Away From Blue Trench, heels, Black Lace Dress, Skull Scarf

Away From the Blue Mulberry Bayswater Bag Oak

Jacket: Barkins beige trench coat
ScarfAlexander McQueen skull scarf white/pink modal
DressAsos midi dress in black lace
Shoes: Wittner 'Bloomy' black heels
Bracelets: the usual plus Edenborough Evans 'Ivy' silver cuff
BagMulberry Bayswater in Oak NVT leather

Simple dress and heels outfit for Monday. A little bit of colour with my scarf, as I really like wearing pink with this dress. Probably should have gone with a different length of coat with this dress though, maybe a more cropped one? Not my favourite outfit.

Decided to wear my Bayswater bag as it's been neglected a bit lately, although when it started raining in the afternoon I regretted my decision, haha. Luckily I managed to keep the bag nice and dry. The Oak NVT bays is terrible for waterspots I've read, always so worried when it rains!

Last worn: trench coat, pink skull scarf, Asos lace dress, Wittner heels, Mulberry Bayswater bag.

Here's what I wore to work today:

Away From Blue Daily Outfit Pinstripe Pants Grey Knit Jumper Heels

Away From The Blue Accessories Mulberry Foggy Grey regular size Alexa Bag

Jacket: Temt Black trench coat
TopWarehouse grey bead front jumper
Pants: Basque pinstripe pants
ShoesWittner 'Lumen' heel in patent leather
Bracelets: the usual plus Marc by Marc Jacobs enamel turnlock stripey hinge black and white bangle  and gifted Balenciaga classic pearly grey double tour bracelet
BagMulberry regular size Alexa bag in foggy grey

My legs were a little cold yesterday, so decided to wear pants to work today. Like the skirt I wore last week, this is another item of clothing I once had on heavy rotation but now barely wear. Only wore them twice last year! I had to give these up when I injured my knee and had to stick to flats, as they really only work with heels. Should try wearing pants to work more often now my knee has healed. As well as having warmer legs, I like this outfit better than yesterday's. :)

Linking up with Style Elixir, What I wore Wednesday today.

Last worn: black trench coat, embellished knit, pinstripe pants, nude heels, Mulberry regular Alexa.

  2. I missed it....what happened to your knee(s)?
Can you wear jeans to work? How about dark denim for more dresses up style jeans? I haven't worn dress pants in a long time haha in the winter time I am always in rights with boots or dark denim.....I find it more comfy that way as the winter here is already freezing and way too long :)

    1. I injured my knee a long time ago in an accident. Then seemed to fall over and aggravate it a lot, haha. Had to swap almost all of my heels for flats instead.

I prefer not to wear jeans through the week in case I'm pulled into unexpected meetings, but some people do wear denim mid-week.

  24. Question for you- what's your favorite trench coat? What keeps you warmest and driest? Been on a mission to find a good one for my big move to London but just don't know what brand to go with! x

    1. I have these two trenches, both old ones that you can't buy any more, but I think anything lined is a definite plus. Both are different material but waterproof, and yet they don't feel bulky so I can wear them in-between seasons. Hope that helps a little?

  25. I so need to find a great trench coat. And I love love love the pinstripe pants in your second look. Are they navy or black? Regardless they're so office chic. And looks great with the gray jumper; I didn't realize the beading until I saw your outfit credits - it's amazing. Always a pleasure to drop by!

    1. Thanks - it wasn't a great pic to show off the beading, I have better clearer photos from the other times I've worn it :) The pants are a really deep navy, they easily pass for black! :)

    1. I really like the mid dress! I'm short so I tend to wear it with heels so it doesn't make me look shorter than I am, but it's a lovely dress :)
